Modell-Tec MS Finnmarken Passenger Ship 1:60
After WW2 it was necessary to rebuild the Norwegian coastal shipping services. In 1956 the MS Finnmarken entered the service and represented ‘the new’ line and was the first Hurtigruten ship with a superstructure rear charger. MS Finnmarken emerged as the prototype of a series of high-speed vessels that were commissioned in the late 1950s and the first half of the 1960s.
The model is single plank on bulkhead construction with laser cut sheets. The kit comes with all parts and fittings and English instructions and highly detailed drawings showing each step of the model’s construction.
